Tanzanite Cabochon, mineral is Zoisite which comes in gray, blue and purple, most of the time zoisite is heated to enhance the color. Tanzanite was first found in Tanzania (hence the name).

Turquoise is very fragile and porous, its fades and crack very easily for that reason it maybe impregnated with wax or resin, to maintain its appearance.
